LusyChat

LusyChat does not sell you a companion to build, it opens a catalogue. The home page is a wall of characters written by other users, each card carrying its author’s handle and its running chat count, and the drawing is manga, not photography. Sheet, scenario and opening scene all read without an account. The page worth reading twice is the membership page, where three plans, three billing periods and a currency called LusyCoins sit on top of each other.

What you get

A character creator (name, personality, description, opening scenario, greeting, public or private), an image generator with a positive and a negative prompt, five aspect ratios and a 1080P output, and a video generator built around named action presets rather than a free prompt. Three paid plans, which the publisher ranks by context window, 64K, 128K and 1M: Premium at $14.99 a month, Deluxe at $43.99, Ultra at $69.99. A free entry exists, described in the site FAQ as a free access tier with a generous number of daily messages, topped up by a daily check-in in the Task Center. Everything else runs on LusyCoins, 6,000 a month on Premium, 30,000 on Deluxe, 60,000 on Ultra. The interface ships in seven languages, French and Japanese among them, and an Android download sits at the foot of the sidebar.

The catch

Start with the word unlimited. The FAQ sells a subscription on unlimited messages, chat as much as you want without daily limits, while the coins page prices one message at 5 coins, an image at 30 and a video at 200, and basic-model messages are free on Deluxe and Ultra only, Premium getting 50% off them. At $14.99 the conversation itself is on the meter. That same plan is not a smaller version of the product but a different one: the comparison table crosses out video generation and the photo album, and caps the AI reply at 250 characters against 650 on the two plans above. Then there are the struck-through prices. All nine cells of the grid, three plans by three billing periods, carry a discount badge and a crossed-out reference, and the sidebar link itself reads Pricing 70% OFF. The yearly tab announces 60 to 74% off, but measured against the monthly prices the site actually charges, paying a year up front saves roughly 41 to 47%, and it means $95.88, $297.00 or $498.00 debited in one go.
