What Instabang is
A casual hookup site built like a social network: a home feed of who is online and who is nearby, a trending wall where members post statuses and short videos, a match game, private messages and video chat. Profiles carry a "naughty meter" and a quality score, and some have a verified badge.
One thing we did not expect: the home page has a separate "AI Profiles" row, labelled "AI Companion (beta)". The site shows AI characters next to its members, and at least on that row it says so. Keep it in mind when a profile writes to you first.
What works, what to watch
What works: the free tier is enough to check whether your area is alive, with real search filters and an online-now list. Credits instead of a subscription means you only pay when you want to write, and the auto-refill was switched off by default on the checkout we saw, which is not the norm in this industry.
