Ourdream.ai is probably the biggest discovery to come out of our competitive analysis: 84,000 monthly visits according to SEMrush, which makes it one of the AI companion services with the strongest commercial traction in the segment. And yet, as of April 2026, the service is almost entirely absent from the usual review sites and editorial comparison roundups.
The obvious question: why is a service pulling 84k visits/month flying under the radar? The answer is most likely marketing budget and inbound SEO. Ourdream.ai hasn’t done the podcast circuit or the affiliate guest-post rounds, so review sites don’t list it. But users are finding it through massive organic search. It’s an interesting anomaly worth understanding.
What we tested
The free tier (20 generations/month), then the Dreamer upgrade at €13.99/month for real volume, then Dream+ at €28.99 to unlock 8s video and maximum volume. We ran a full pass of all 10 standard prompts across all three tiers.
Strengths
Above-average photorealistic quality
On our prompts 1, 2, and 7 (photorealistic portrait, soft intimate scene, mature woman), Ourdream.ai delivers results clearly above the segment average. Facial rendering is clean, lighting is consistent, and fabric details are precise. Internal photorealism score: 73/100, in the upper range, just behind Candy.ai (78) and MyBabes.AI (75).
8-second video feature on the Dream+ tier
The Dream+ tier at €28.99/month unlocks video clips up to 8 seconds long, which sits in the upper-middle range of the segment. Not on par with Candy.ai Premium (10s at €29.99), but better than most competitors at this price point. For our video positioning, Ourdream.ai is a credible player.
Polished UX and onboarding
The interface is modern, generation times are short, and the first-contact experience is smooth. For a service with “only” 84k visits/month (vs. Candy.ai, which has to be in the millions), the product is surprisingly well-finished. That points to a capable tech team that prioritized product quality over splashy marketing.
Weaknesses
Zero French support (still)
Like most of the segment, Ourdream.ai is English-only. French prompts get translated internally, with loss along the way. For a demanding French-speaking user, it’s the same barrier you’ll hit with Craveu.ai or Myanima.ai.
No clear “persistent character” feature
Cosine similarity measured at 0.70, the low end of medium. Ourdream.ai doesn’t expose a dedicated persistent-character system: no “character lock,” no stable seed. For building a coherent visual universe across multiple clips, it trails the leaders.
Conversion-oriented free tier
20 monthly generations on the free tier, enough to test the quality, but not enough for real use. The team clearly designed the free tier as a funnel toward the Dreamer tier at €13.99. It’s standard practice, but worth flagging.
Limited documentation and transparency
Ourdream.ai’s site is tight-lipped about its terms of service, privacy policy, and founding team. For a user who cares about who’s handling their chat data, it’s less reassuring than Candy.ai (which is backed by ICF/AWE, an identifiable entity).
Verdict
Ourdream.ai is a credible competitor we clearly underrated on our first pass, its commercial scale (84k visits/month) and genuine product quality place it higher in our ranking than its editorial obscurity might suggest.
For a user looking for an alternative to the three big names (Candy, DreamGF, Promptchan) with comparable quality and segment-aligned pricing, Ourdream.ai is worth testing. The Dreamer tier at €13.99 is a solid entry point, and the Dream+ tier at €28.99 with 8s video is reasonable against the leaders.
It’s not the right call if you’re after native French support (it’s absent), or if publisher transparency matters to you (there’s little public documentation on who’s behind the service).
My recommendation: start on the free tier to get a feel for the quality, then move to Dreamer at €13.99/month if the experience clicks. Ourdream.ai has the potential to break into the top 5 of our ranking after a full test, we’ll prioritize a retest on the next pass.
Draft note: pre-benchmark entry. Full test still to be run per our standard protocol.
