Main limitation: video is not included in the free tier. You have to step up to the Plus tier (€13.99/month) to unlock it. As a free image generator alone, though, it’s unbeatable in this segment.
Who it’s for: if you want to evaluate a service’s quality and range of styles before paying, Promptchan is the best starting point in April 2026. For video, you’ll still have to open your wallet.

Main limitation: video is reserved for the Silver tier (€19.99/month). The free plan is a good test for chat and images, but not for the video promise.
Who it’s for: the curious who want to try the “AI girlfriend” experience before buying. DreamGF is one of the rare services where this evaluation is possible without a credit card upfront.
4, Candy.ai, free-tier score 65/100
20 generations per month, email sign-up. Candy.ai is the acknowledged leader in the AI companion segment, but its free tier is deliberately tight: 20 generations, no video, and limited access to certain premium options in the character creator.
Main limitation: the free tier is clearly built as a conversion funnel rather than an honest demo. The quality is representative, but the volume is just enough to make you feel the limit after 3–4 days of moderate use.

15 generations per month, standard sign-up. The most restricted volume in our top 5, but MyBabes.AI makes up for it with photorealistic rendering quality that’s among the best, even on the free tier. The watermark is visible but doesn’t obscure the content.
Main limitation: 15 generations go fast, and the free plan doesn’t unlock the video feature. The Premium tier at €14.99/month opens up 300 generations and 6s video.
Who it’s for: users who want to verify photorealistic quality before committing. MyBabes.AI is a good test of “does this service deliver on the final render,” but not a good test of the experience at volume.

No free tier on the market in April 2026 lets you produce genuinely usable content on a continuous basis. They’re designed as demos, and that’s fine, it’s a business. The €10–15 per month for the first paid tier at any of our five services pays for itself the moment you run more than fifty or so generations a month.
